Lexie's reading environment is designed to support homeschooling, independent reading practice, and classroom needs. We want to help you make the best of it and help a child with dyslexia at home as easily as possible.

1. Use OCR print to digital conversion to digitize important parts of textbooks

• Take photos of textbooks pages
• Add them as documents and combine them to create a lesson or learning material
• Print them or convert to a book and read with Text to Speech

With a small amount of work, hard to read textbooks are now bits of lessons and easy to learn :)

2. Add Word documents or TruePDFs for easier reading and note-taking

• Lexie converts Word docs and PDFs into ebooks or documents to make them editable
• Style the added content in the reading setup in a way it will be perfectly readable to you
• If you need to save anything from these materials you can create a note or a new document. 
• You can group notes from print and from digital for easier learning

3. Keep the grip on your reading, fluency, and comprehension practice with short stories

• In-app Library holds over 170-grade level 3 to 8 reading passages with multiple-choice questions 
• It takes 2 – 5 minutes for each passage which makes them perfect for daily practice

4. Keep on with independent reading

• A combination of tools available in Lexie makes it easier to read. Just find or add books interesting to you :)
• Let your kids choose a book they like and add it to the app
• 20 minutes per day should be more than enough to feel long term improvement in reading skills

5. Schools can create their digital library in Lexie and make their reading materials available to students

• To keep track of the school’s reading list we can create a library for each school
